Abstract submissions have now concluded. We will be in touch with individuals selected for presentations soon.
Past talks have included techniques to elevate teaching practices, ways to implement inclusive learning, strategies for effective mentoring, and ways to address diversity in academia.
Research posters can highlight work from the fellow’s lab or the results of tested classroom approaches and designs.
- A subset of abstracts will be selected to also be presented as 2-minute, 2-slide lightning talks during the opening banquet – if you would prefer that your abstract not be considered for a lightning talk, you will be given the opportunity to indicate this.
- Posters will be presented during two sessions on Monday July 16 from 3:30-5:00 and 5:00-6:30. Prizes will be given to posters in each category, based upon reviews by a panel of judges.
If you would be interested in submitting a symposium presentation on teaching/mentoring and/or a poster presentation research/pedagogy, please complete the abstract submission here. We are asking for abstracts that are 250 words or fewer.
