Greetings. With the meeting over, we are hoping to get some feedback so later meetings can be further improved. Please fellow the link below to fill out a quick survey on what you thought worked well and what can be improved upon for later IRACDA gatherings. Thank you.
Thank you to all of our attendees and speakers for making this year’s meeting so exciting and rewarding. We hope you had a wonderful time sharing your insights and passion for research, pedagogy, inclusion, and mentorship.
Please travel home safely.
We will be sending a brief survey out in the coming days to see what you felt went well and what can be further improved for following meetings.
We look forward to seeing you next year when our colleagues at the University of Michigan host from June 30 to July 2, 2019!
This pavilion is a separate building adjacent to the main Emory Conference Center Hotel. There will be signs in the main lobby to help direct you.
Most boards will have enough space for individuals to put up posters for both the first and second session now.
There is a small number of boards (~5) where there is only enough space for the first session posters (those for 3:30 – 5:00 pm) to be put up for now. Those posters will then be taken down so the second session posters (5:00 – 6:30 pm) can be put up in their place. The only boards where this is applicable will have two numbers posted on them.
The Oak Break Area is listed as one of the meeting areas for Monday’s session. This is a typo. The location for these sessions will be the Oak Amphitheatre.
We apologize for the confusion with that typo.
If you need to register on-site, you can complete that process at the link here and then check-in at the registration table in the lobby.
The green drink tickets in name tags are for this evening’s happy hour reception.
Welcome to Atlanta and the IRACDA 2018 meeting. We look forward to an exciting next few days with you all!
We have some new information available for speakers who are presenting at either the Emory Conference Center Hotel or the Morehouse Leadership Center at the Atlanta University Center Consortium. We hope this will make travel into the area and setup as smooth as possible.
Decisions have been made regarding poster presentations and individuals should have been emailed confirming their posters’ acceptance.
Posters have been assigned a number and a time slot for one of the two Monday afternoon sessions (either 3:30 – 5:00 pm or 5:00 – 6:30 pm). Information for preparing posters is also available.
We look forward to learning more about our colleagues’ science in the coming weeks!
We have now closed online registration and abstract submission for this year’s meeting. On-site registration will be possible in July. We look forward to seeing you all at the meeting.
We look forward to meeting with you all this July. With online registration closing after June 1st, we are now dedicating funds to the different costs of the meeting and can no longer guarantee refunds of the meeting registration. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing you soon.
